Encounters

Encountering Jesus is the most important, wonderful and transformational thing that can ever happen in our lives. And whoever we are, whatever the state of our lives, hearts and minds, he longs to meet with us where we are.

Encounters with Jesus is a concert of 10 songs exploring stories from the Bible where Jesus does exactly that. Stories of Jesus individual responses to the rejected, cynical, seekers, haters, thinkers, desperate, proud and neglected. People just like us.

It’s a space to welcome people to reflect on these stories. A space to invite the Holy Spirit to powerfully minister through God’s Word and music. Abi Askew's deepest prayer, is that it’s a space where people can meet with Jesus themselves, and respond to the eternal adventure of encountering Him.

Concert songs are composed and performed by Abi Askew; a member of Grace Church, Cardiff, Music Therapist and a professional musician.
