Gwersyllt Church: LIFE - 'Ever feel there's something more?'  13th-20th March 2026

"We ran a week of evangelistic events to reach people in our local community in Gwersyllt and also share further with those whom we already know the good news of Jesus. As well as building on existing outreaches like women's and men's events, youth meetings, Coffee Morning and Luncheon Club we put on some extra gatherings like a Family Fun Day and a community engaging mural project. In partnership with the local primary schools we produced a mural for the church building wall which displays a collage of images describing life in Gwersyllt with a back ground of the difference Jesus makes to life through his death and resurrection. The children really enjoyed being a part of it and have loved seeing their designs in the finished mural. With guest evangelistice serving us for the week we were able to support other smaller local churches in their own missions."
 
 
Sat 14th March 2026 - Fun Day (2pm-5pm) Face-painting, live music, burgers, Xplore, Games and Crafts. 
Mon 16th March (1pm) - 'Friends Coming Together' - Ladies Afternoon Tea and Talk (by Pat Norbury)
Mon 16th March (7pm) - 'Belonging' - Ladies Pudding Evening with Craft and Talk from guest speaker and artists, Lois Adams
After visiting the local schools beforehand to collect ideas for the mural, the school children came to paint the mural with the artist Lois Adams during LIFE week. 
Tuesday 17th March (7:30pm) - "Where is God when it hurts?" Cafe, live music and talk with musician Andy Mayo and speaker Michael Otts.
Wednesday Evening - Children's Club and Youth Club events.
Friday 20th March (7pm) Life: 'From Mafia to Christ'. Slavko Hadzic, a former Bosnian Mafia leader, sharing his incredible story of Mafia to Christ.
